We have stayed in both RPR once and HRH twice and will be a third in a couple of weeks. so we prefer by a mile HRH, Love the pool and the theming of the hotel.

No quening in universal with FOTL and we only had one evening meal as the food offerings where more than enough.

Look at the deluxe rooms as these have two double beds, a sofa bed large dressing area and plenty of room without been on top of each other.

Hope this helps in some way.
It does - thanks! Still haven't booked it - trying to justify the price difference, but then again I want it to be something special. My head is bursting making the decision on my own - I'm terrible at making my mind up and I can't really run it by anyone, his family would blab!

I've already scheduled the extra days at work to (hopefully) cover the cost! Dunno if I can justify it either thinking we are just using it for sleeping and then I think,oh we may not be back. Still to sort out my tickets, so may buy APH, which hopefully gets an even better discount.

Do not buy an AP until nearer the time, and you see what the discounts are, you will not need it to checkin, just show your voucher and after you come back to the hotel later show the AP

I have thought of that option as well (the AP) but dont know how much discount it gives you so weather it is worth buying... anyone? And there are 3 types of ap as well isnt there!

Its easy to get confused lol

I think if you go through the first part of the booking process, on the universal website, and enter promotion code APH, the prices are shown with discount.

There is a link in my signature to a thread with a variety of historical prices/discounts - that may help?

We're looking to book today - definitely think we will try HRH this time, stopped at RPR last time. We are going to book 2 separate nights to take advantage of fol.

Question is whether to book 2 nights at HRH or 1 night HRH and 1 night RPR?

There will be 4 of us - me, DH and DS, 15, and DD, 12.

Which way do you think would be best to go?
