Even with the universal offer its still cheaper for a 14 day ticket - madness
$1184 with Universal which equates to £959 £876 with ATD - nearly £100 cheaper for 14 days rather than 4 days

The 14 day ticket is always the best deal.
I always have to explain to my wife, who thinks the same as you. If we going for one week can't we just pay half the price. But what you have to realise is your not paying for 14 day tickets. you are getting a great deal which they sell over 14 days as that's how long UK visitors usually spend on holiday to Orlando. |

Have a look at maple leaf tickets, I've used them loads, yes 14 day tickets are better value but if you just want a few days , even if it only saves you £20 each that's a days parking ,or a meal,
It's hard to get your head around only saving a tiny bit, but only buy what you need , |

If the 14 day tickets work out at nearly £100 cheaper, regardless of how many days you actually end up using, surely it's a no-brainer?

It is a no brainer I admit, what I can't get my head around is I could go for 14 days straight and it be cheaper than going for 2 consecutive days

It's because tickets are $120 a day and Universal realise that UK visitors come for 14 days and they want them in thier parks spending as much as possible. They also realise that charging full price for 14 days would be mad so they heavily discount.
The usual American visitor spend alot less time on vacation in Orlando, usually about 3-5 days hence why they don't need to discount tickets. Other than a free day offer here and there |
