BA bag drop Gatwick

We are usually Virgin people but it was BA or no way if we wanted to get to our favourite place - my question is I see they do twilight checkin but I have just seen it’s only for flights before 1pm - we go at 1.15, anybody managed to check their bags the night before for this flight? Seems a early cut off time to me, thanks

Not sure the Gatwick site is correct, BA's website quotes;

Available for flights departing before 13:00 the following day. (This facility is not available on Christmas Day for flights departing before 13:00 on 26 December.)

Opening hours: 16:00 - 22:00
Eligible flights: All next-day flights departing before 13:00. Use the self-service check-in kiosks, then deposit your baggage at the fast bag drop in zone A.
Cost: free
Other conditions: all passengers must be present at check-in
