Still following 'The Following' ?

What annoys me is the senior woman FBI agent looks really like the the one that was killed in the last series. I'm still following though it's getting harder to overlook Ryan Hardies ineptitude and catching the followers once he finds them.

I'm new to this, I didn't see the first season or even know about it(although my dh swears I did!)and I'm really enjoying it, but I can see what everyone else means about fruitless chases,stares etc (I thought the "yes mother" line was a bit Bates motel for those who saw it!)but I clearly need to get hold of and watch season one a I feel I've missed out! I'm a Dexter fan so the following is filling the gap for me a little I think!

I really didn't like the whole girl in a cage thing either. Too disturbing for me I'm afraid.

Laura if you have watched one episode there is no need to watch the first season at all. They all end in a chase in the dark/someone getting stabbed/ baddie gets away/Ryan getting told off by FBI/joe Carroll chewing the scenery up as he explains to everyone how magnificent he is/wide eyed overacting from his followers as they swoon in his charismatic presence.

Have I missed anything out anyone.

I have no idea why I keep recording it although I do watch with my finger on the fast forward button most of the time.

I'm still watching it but it's getting silly. I keep thinking Mike is gonna turn out to be a follower. Why is he so grumpy and p'd off with Ryan all the time?

We loved the first part of the first series and, like so many others on this thread, got pretty sick pretty quickly of fruitless chases but stuck it out until the end. Saw that the second series was starting and were happy but we've been away for a while so we've got the first 4 episodes ready to watch. Seriously low expectations now that it sounds like Ryan hasn't learned how to effectively apprehend anyone yet.

Well I enjoyed last nights episode! It was very satisfying in parts I'd go as far to say. Of course there were some absolutely ricidoodlelous silly moments though... like Ryan turning super fighter with super strength despite having been shot and injured... he could have winced a bit for authenticity. Does anyone else think that Claire is alive really?
