Relaxing at the Grand Floridian

Moving Disney Hotel
Currently booked with Disney UK direct for 10 nights in Coronado Springs for August 2022. Got the $610 dining credit and $200 gift card.
Port Orleans has just become available, and is £150 more, with $610 dining credit and only $100 gift card. Always wanted to stay at Port Orleans, but if I phone and change it would I keep the $200 gift card or would it be replaced with the current $100 offer? For £150 more it's tempting, for £250 more, not so!

Quick phone ! You will keep the original booked gift card. I’m always changing things Disney are very helpful. I had original booked a room at CSR when french quarter became available for my dates I changed over. Port Orleans is a lovely resort we love to go to Disney springs after the parks, it’s great having the boat to take you down there.

You keep the offer that was on when you booked, so you'll keep the $200 gift card etc.

As above, you keep your original offer amounts. The only time that changes is if you change tiers of hotel, eg downgrading to a value would change your dining credit amount. But the gift card would stay the same.

I recently changed (I think about 4 weeks ago) same level hotel just different resort and they automatically carried over the dining credit (which would of been the same) and the $200 gift card.

Just changed my Aug 22 trip from Beach Club to Caribbean Beach Resort, purely because some 5th sleeper rooms became available for our dates, would rather guarantee separate beds for the kids than go deluxe and hope to get a room with 2 queens and a day bed.
Only me currently booked in with £50 deposit. No charge for changing, same deal for gift card and gift basket, just less dining credits because moving from deluxe to moderate. |
