21st Birthday planning ..🍸
My daughter turns 21 in January 2019, she will be working at Disney at this time and we will be seeing her for one week over her birthday. So now I'm thinking Birthday ears ! , a nice meal either at Disney Springs or a Disney restaurant in one of the onsite Hotels and a Mickey cake ?
Has anyone any suggestions for the restaurant ? Are the cakes nice / edible lol ? I'm hoping she'll be off work that day so I'll need my thinking cap on for an extra nice day

This was us a few years ago, she ended up having to work on her birthday but her CM friends bought her the birthday pin ( not the free button ) and we stayed at the YC so she came and stayed with us for the week on site, we had a cake made by disney and brought to the room and went for drinks to jelly rolls but i would now go to trader sams at the poly as she loves it their.
she was driving and stopped at the gas station by Dsprings and bought some booze on the way home ( because she could!). you could maybe go the cali grill or narcooses |

Oooh I like this idea, she'd like a massage or any beauty treatment I reckon.
I hope she's not working on her birthday my Dh doesn't really want to go in January as it is, we're only going out for that reason ! Though I know someone else actually who wasn't off for hers either ! thanks for those ideas

I’m not sure what to suggest in terms of restaurant as I guess it depends what your plans are for the day. However, I’d recommend getting a cake from Amorettes in Disney Springs. In fact they serve champagne too so you could go for cake and champagne pre or post dinner?
The cakes are excellent. I’d personally not had a cake I’d particularly loved in Disney until we went to Amorettes so that would always be my recommendation 😋

You could spend a few hours at Epcot, giving your DD her first chance to try some of the lovely cocktails
