Bella was wild!
I woke countless times in the night and genuinely wondered if the windows might blow in.
I’ve just woken to absolute silence. No wind, no rain, not a single bird is singing and there’s absolutely no sound of life at all! Quite disconcerting! I’m going to go and have a look outside and assess the damage (if any) Clearly we have power so that’s a bonus. Anyone gain any trampolines or garden furniture overnight?! Edited at 09:34 AM. |

I was expecting our garden to be flooded but it was actually ok.
Woke up with a blinding headache due to not having the windows open. I loathe a stuffy bedroom.

Had lots of rain overnight here in Suffolk but not sure of bad winds as it didn't cause me to stay awake. The bridge that crosses the river was closed overnight as the wind was apparently over 50 mph. Now open and all is quiet!

Woke up during the night to the heaviest rain I’ve heard in a while. Our bedroom is a loft conversion and I thought the roof was coming in. Didn’t sound overly windy- just rain. Thankfully, the fence is still up. The fence came down in storms we had at the beginning of the year and then lockdown hit so couldn’t replace it for weeks. So happy it’s still up. Trampoline also there.

Our sun lounger fell over (been asking DH to pack it away for the last month) & one of our wheelie bins fell over. Fences intact!
Wind howling in the night but not as bad as it could have been.

Very windy and heavy rain here in North Wales last night.
I did hear the chairs moving on the decking but they haven’t moved far at all. I didn’t hear much after going to bed as I had my fan on all night.
