car hire for 6 people

Hi, we are flying into and out of Tampa this year, 6 adults (the kids have grown up) all with a full size suitcase. We have allocated (Avis) a 12 seater minibus type thing which will be fine space wise, but I doubt comfort will be great. Wondering is there are any other vehicle types which can fit 6 plus 6 luggage.

Thanks

It will be a bit of the Tetris game but I reckon you could do a 7 seater. Not easy but as long as they aren't all huge cases it should be ok.

Flight bags in the foot wells and at least 2 cases on the empty seat.

We have used a Dodge caravan in the past for 5 adults and that worked very well for us - lots of Space

I’d say you should be able to get into a 7 seater minibus. As Mr Morrow says, it’ll be a bit of Tetris fitting the bags in, but you can usually drop one of the third row seats to make some room, and fit hand luggage in any gaps.

We hired an 8 seater and that might be a better option for you?
