Audible book

Any recommendations for a good audible book? Driving up to Glasgow to pick up my mum on Saturday and wanting a good book to listen to on the way up.
Last time we drove up to Glasgow we listened to Billy Connolly Made in Scotland which seemed to make the journey go a bit faster and since we are leaving the house at 5.30am we need something to make the time fly

If you are a Harry Potter fan I can highly recommend the audio books read by Stephen Fry. I thoroughly enjoy them and have spent many a boring flight listening to them.

Try this is going to hurt by Adam Kay very funny and you will listen to it more than once.

We loved The Martian, there’s much more in the book tha the film

I enjoyed Talking Heads, written by Alan Bennett and read by wonderful women actors. I’ve also started Frank Gardner’s autobiography which he narrates. It’s very interesting and he has a lovely voice.

The martian or if you like zombie apocalypse type thrillers Mountain Man is awesome! However look out for the trilogy deal it's much cheaper than buying the books separately but doesn't always come up top of the list when searching.

There's now a prequel as well I have to say it's ok but not as good as the original trilogy.

I’ve got one of those sound asleep pillows with the built in speaker so fall asleep listening to Harry Potter must have listened to the 7 times now

It’s all down the narrator. Some authors that I really like have awful people narrating them! Alan Bennett sounds good.
