Live bands

I was wondering if anyone could help with suggestions to where live bands play. I know Hard Rock occasionally host gigs but I'm sure I've read that somewhere in Disney springs does to. I'd like to check out if anyone good is playing while we are out 21st - 28th November and get something booked.

check out events at the amway arena, the social and beacham in downtown orlando, hard rock at universal citywalk, house of blues in DTD

check the likes of ticketmaster for event listings as well as the individual venue websites/facebook pages.

most gigs dont tend to get announced until a couple of months beforehand, so you probably wont start finding anything interesting till around august, its not like over here, where gigs tend to be announced at least 6 months in advance. for example, the social's gig calender is pretty empty after march 2016 so far... thesocial/calendar/

further afield, i can recommend the culture room in ft lauderdale too.

Take a look at

pollstar/resultsCity.aspx?ID=42921

They show most of Orlando's venues and concerts. Use the same site to search for Tampa as a lot of singers/bands play there and not Orlando (better tax breaks)

Nearer the time of your visit, check velvetsessions
Held on the last Thursday of the month at the Hard Rock Hotel

On the pollstar website it shows the Epcot Garden theatre for Eastertime - so thank you for that - Disney have not released the bands yet, but they are listed on here:pollstar/resultsVenue.aspx?ID=73818

Check out the House of Blues website - they have a calendar of future events.

I am on a Live Nation mailing list for Florida concerts and they have info for both small and large bands. It might be worth checking them out to give you an idea of possible venues.

The Amway Centre actually have an app that gives you up to date details of events on including sports and concerts. I have it on my iphone as I am wanting to see who might be there in August and it is only a click away.
