thanks for the reply's so far, looking forward to the Monday/Tuesday reports. I love a good curry, however I don't like coconut, is the chicken curry a coconut one? also with the Caesar salad sandwich, can you taste the anchovies in the dressing? or is the dressing separate? see, I told you we were fussy! thanks again

ps, maybe someone knows why airplane food is not plainer? maybe have separate sachets for sauce etc, (eg, do a chicken salad sandwich, which we would eat and only leave the dressing sachet as rubbish) then the choice is up to you, much less waste, including the fuel to transport unwanted meals and rubbish around the sky. maybe I'll email the airlines, see what response (if any) I get. pity Jamie Oliver is not a dibber! or is he? we could start a campaign. LOL

We had thai curry amd they run out of pasta, I said I cant do spicy food on flights so they brought me a prawn salad from first class it was lovely. On the way back chicken curry or pasta, we had the pasta and it was nice. I dont see why they do only curry though, I like curry but maybe not the best thing for a flight!

The caesar sandwich comes fully prepared, as does all of the food, if you were to make everything separate you'd end up with more potential waste than less, and it would cost more to the airline...Jamie Oliver wouldn't make it any cheaper or better.

Why not buy some food from the likes of Boots and take that along with you in case you don't like whats on offer?
