Behind the Seeds Tour
Is the Behind The Seeds Tour any good?
Has anyone done this and got any comments? Looking forward to hearing your thoughts

Did it last year and it was fun! It's one of the cheapest tours you can do in WDW and it's fun to go and have a more in depth look at the Living with the Land greenhouse. (I also love the ride so that helps...)
As far as I remember - after checking in for the tour they give you audio headsets so you can hear the guide. She brought us into a small backstage area and showed us some insects or plants that were being incubated somewhere (I think!), then after that brought us through the whole greenhouse approximately from where the laboratory bit is (the end of the ride), through the part with the fish tanks, and finally into the big dome area. Along the way she would stop at various points and talk about the plants, or the systems, and there were small mini activities like trying out cucumber grown in the greenhouse, feeding fish, guessing what spices were in a container. Some photos below...

We did it in 2017 and loved it! Our tour guide was really enthusiastic and entertaining. Highly recommend it

I've been thinking about booking this too, I think it looks great but I'm not sure my DDs will be very interested.

I think I will book this for my daughter and wife who will get more from it than myself and DD's aged 17 and 7!

Yes. I think the only thing that you may not be able to do is feed the fish, it’s higher up and there’s a little step from what I remember.
Edit. Just had a look on dizabled and there’s an article HERE which says it’s ok for ecv, it’s just the fish tank part that’s a bit awkward. It’s an older article so the price is way out sadly but the tour route is basically the same still! Edited at 02:48 PM. |

Just booked our tour and was specifically told that wheelchairs and ecv's can access the whole tour without exiting - hope this helps
