Car hire for Canada?
My husband was going to get a car from Montreal and drive to Toronto so we need a car for one day. Is there any companies where you can pick up and drop of at different locations. If not we’re getting a train and I’d rather not with suitcases, any help would be much appreciated. Thanks 🙏

We did this from Quebec to Montreal. Much cheaper and less hassle than the train. We booked last minute and used Budget who were in a downtown hotel in Quebec City. They only had one vehicle which had just been returned and it was dirty inside and out, but it was take it or leave it. I don't remember the one way charge being too bad.

When we go in May we are hiring the car from Vancouver and dropping in Calgary.
We’ve booked with Canadian affairs because they were holding 2021 prices so although more than we’d normally pay it’s not the stupid price currently being charged. The car is from Avis. Worth giving them a call, as I don’t think you can book online with them at present. |

Hi we got ours with enterprise picking up at Montreal near where we are staying and dropping of at Toronto airport. My dil actually used to work at Canadian affair and I was going to try them but managed to find a deal online. It was £300 for one day but £590 for 7 days so we got it for 7 days.

That’s a good price compared to some of the prices I’m seeing online now.
Canadian affair seem to get pretty good reviews, I’d never heard of them before but after reading the reviews and getting a price 1/3 of what everyone else was coming in at when I booked I decided to try them? Have a lovely time |

My son who lived in Toronto for two years said it’s hard to hire a car and return it to a different location, I had to prove him wrong. You have a lovely time too x
