We're on the Enchanted Princess in the summer too. I've joined a FB group but haven't really found many tips.

We've cruised from Southampton before but the prices of hotels and parking have increased so much since last year. I'd like 2 nights and parking and I can't find anything for a price that's making me want to book.

Hotels and parking have gone up a lot this year. I have booked for boat show week which has made it even more expensive!

I have booked the Village Hotel in Eastleigh, it is about 15 minutes or so outside Southampton. We paid £45 a night last year. £150 this time but it was about the best I could find. It is a nice hotel, fairly new with a pool, gym and restaurant. They do have a lot of offers if you join their membership club.

I am hovering between paying £95 for the week with CPS orparking in the multi storey at West Quay shopping mall. It is £5 per 24 hours and then approx £7 each way in a a taxi to the port. You could walk but not really with cases.

It does soon add up with hotels and parking.

Due to booking a cruise last minute so no port parking available we used the west quay car park the other week
Five pound for 24 hours
Taxi to sky princess was 8.40 if it helps
