Space 220 thoughts

If you’ve been here can you share your thoughts on this restaurant please ? I can’t make up my mind whether to try for a reservation

Very poor IMO.
Better spacey experiences elsewhere and food / service.
But its very subjecive... Maybe get a walk up to the lounger/bar?

I wasn't impressed by it. The space elevator was cool but the rest disappointed. The space windows inside the restaurant reflected everything. You could see all the green exit signs, as well as all the restaurant lighting reflecting in the windows. I think Coral Reef is a much better alternative.

I completely disagree with the previous posters so I think this is something you need to either just go for or not. I realise that’s not really helpful but we thought the “space” experience was good, especially the elevator. Our seats were at the back and in a high booth so wouldn’t have been our choice but meant we got a good view. The food was beautiful but it was very expensive. I would definitely go back next trip though, even at the cost.

We went about 2 weeks ago. We went to the lounge not the restaurant. It's the same experience for both . Restaurant is a fixed price menu but the lounge you can just get a drink, snacks or order anything from the main menu.
I wouldnt pay for the restaurant as I thought it was expensive but we really enjoyed the lounge. I probably wouldnt do it again as once it's done it's done. But for the experience I would say yes go for it

I’d say it probably depends what you’re going for. If it’s the experience of being in the restaurant then go for the lounge and save yourself some money. We wanted the meal so we understood it would cost a lot.

I loved it. The food was lovely. Great theming. Server was very nice. Yes it’s expensive but it’s no more expensive than any other signature. I got the steak which was cooked to perfection. We went to the yatchsman on the last night and I got the steak it was $54 so to add on a starter and dessert I would have pay more than Space 220 and the steak wasn’t as good.

We loved it, booked the lounge. Food was good, atmosphere great.
There were plenty of walk ups available so if you don’t get a reservation just try.
It was our favourite restaurant.

I really like the look of this and would love to experience it but having looked at the menu and the prices I can’t say that there anything I fancy eating. I never realised we could book it and just go up for a drink. That sounds like the perfect option for us. Thank you!
