Passport nightmare - What else can I do?

Thanks everyone!

They called again bang on 8am and spoke to the upgrade team. They advised to send another email but to put URGENT and travelling 16th May (instead of 19th) in the subject line. So they've sent that email again this morning and we'll see what they come back with... 🤞🏼

At what point do they get in the car to Liverpool? If not tonight, does a Monday visit allow you enough time to get it, get an Esta, get tests and still travel?

Hopefully it doesn't come to this and you have the answer you've been waiting for today.

I think I would also have travelled.
We travel from the west coast of Scotland to Manchester (6 and a half hours if traffic is good) just to get our flight! That's with 2 kids too.

A 9 hour round trip for me would be on the cars, I couldn't deal with the waiting to see what happens.

He's going to drive up at about 2am & arrive at 6am on Monday morning. The aim is to be at the front of the line when they open at 9am.

Really hope he comes back with the passport 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

My nerves couldn’t have held out this long! I really hope they get it sorted, I can’t believe they’ve left it this long to drive up there to be honest.

It's been in the national news for a few weeks now. There are huge backlogs, and although some are coming back in just a couple of weeks, some are taking months for no apparent reason. People have missed holidays because of it, including at least one family of Dibbers.

I must admit they’ve got more nerves than me lol!
Fair play for holding on to hope this long as I would have been in that car long before now.
