Mobile September 2018... diy or travel agent?

Just decided today we are going to book an onsite stay for 2 weeks this September. What is going to be the most economical way of doing it? We normally book 18 months in advance!

if you are doing a standard two week stay then I would have a look at an agent as sometimes they can do a package at pretty good rates, esp in September but also look at diy. see what the £ notes tell you

For a standard, on site, 2 week stay, then in probability, a travel agent. I would price it as a diy and then compare with any and every agent.

Imho, diy works best for multi centre/ multi airport/ multi accommodation type vacations.

Irrespective of when you are going, you can only be certain of having the best deal if you shop around - price up all the DIY options/routes, price up all the tour operators. Look at as many as you can.

I’ve just been trying to figure out flights for next year and am sorely tempted to book for this year . Direct flights from Glasgow with Thomas Cook for less than £500 each . Must give myself a good talking to

We usually go in September and have always done it is a package as we got good deals. However, for this years trip it has worked out a lot cheaper to book it diy.
