Parking in the parks

Hi everyone. Has anyone figured a way of getting cheaper or even free parking in the Disney parks, we have a disabled pass but I don't think that would help. We normally stay in Disney So it's never been a problem but the idea of paying so much to visit the parks which we've already bought 21 day passes for annoys me

If you stay on site it is complimentary as part of your stay. If you stay off site then it's $20 a day and you should budget accordingly. Parking is not included in park tickets as it would penalise those who don't use a car.

When you say you have a disabled pass is it the Florida one? If its a blue Uk version it won't be valid.

As per Geoff above. It's a cost that has to be factored in. When one considers all the staff that have to deal with the parking and the cost of resurfacing every few years it's not too bad.

Its one of the things I always includ when comparing staying onsite vs offsite to see which is the better deal. Free dining vs paying oop is another. I feel you should have considered this when booking.

For the small cost $20 you may as well pay up. You can reuse your receipt at other Disney parks on the same day.

EDIT: Also worth noting that the price we pay for tickets on this side of the atlantic is generally seen as extremely good value.

The only ways to get free parking at the parks are, as already mentioned, stay on site or buy/upgrade to an Annual Pass. Its probably cheaper to pay the upgrade than pay $420 for parking if you went for all of the 21 days of your ticket, plus you get the added bonus of any discounts as well.

It's a rip off. Only hardcore Dibbers can support such a ridiculous charge!

A lot cheaper than parking for the entire day in Cardiff. Plus the spaces are bigger and you dont get some ≈≈≈≈ wipe banging your door!

I don't support it as I dont pay but I view it as an intrinsic part of the visit.

Of course no one pays a penny to park in England, one of the biggest things we notice when we come home, everywhere is pay to park and ludicrous charges if you overstay by a second. Wish it was only $20 a day in Oxford.

No-one is forcing you to pay it..
You could do one of the following..
1) Stay on site,
2) Get an AP,
3) Get a bus/taxi,
or
4) Not go to the parks

It could cost you more to park at your local hospital for less time...
