We used supershuttle and NEVER again. We had to wait about 45 mins for it to leave as it was waiting for more people to fill it up heading our direction. Then they overfilled it and made everyone squash up to fit a lady in. We stopped at her house which seemed in a nasty area, then a few hotels, knots berry farm
And finally the grand California. It took close to 2 hours from 8pm in the evening. By the time we checked in the shop and restaurant were closed and we didn’t get any dinner.

From memory they were approx $45 and I would pay double to avoid that again. Just awful.

Those that used uber, if I have a family of 4 with cases etc would uber XL be what I need?

Also have the added complexity of needing a car seat

Really in a quandary what to do here

Yes, that will be Uber XL size wise. Uber do in some cities offer a car seat service in Uber X cars for $10 per trip. I don't think this option is in LA yet though unfortunately.

Lyft is similar, but still only in NY I believe.

Are you taking your own car seat? I believe both allow you to use your own car seat.

Is it a full car seat or just a booster you need? Seen people take blow up booster seats for holidays.

Fitting 3 in the back with a full car seat can be difficult depending on the seat.

We weren’t planning on taking a seat, for the 7 year old we have a blow up booster if needed but we also have a 2 year old so not sure what to do there

Looks like we have run out of options here due to the 2 year old needing a car seat which we aren’t taking.

My two remaining options seem to be £100 for the Disneyland express which leaves once an hour, goes around the houses and then doesn’t drop off right at our hotel or just less than £200 return for Lansky’s private shuttle who provide car seats and meet you in the terminal.

Loathe paying it but it seems the best option remaining

I used Lansky's last year to take us from LAX to Grand California & would highly recommend them. I was concerned about hanging around & waiting for shuttles or them not turning up, as we were only there 4 days & didn't want to waste time.
They were more expensive but you get what you pay for.
The driver was very smartly dressed & polite, & was waiting for us in the terminal with a sign with our name on, the Mercedes was just across the road with bottled water for us.
You can also ask for a grocery stop of 20 mins on the way.
I'm booking them again for next year, great communication as well responded quickly to emails.
