Thumbs up Universal Hollywood

Hey

I am just thinking anyone have any reviews about Universal Hollywood, ill visiting LA for 3 days as part of my trip in september 2019 and would like to do a day there.

Is it good, i have been to Orlando Universal many times, i see they have a walking dead attraction is it good? do they have merchandise there?

What are the rides like? id be going from 12-15th to LA so anyway between then. I thin i would go the friday as it would hopefully not be as busy as saturday.

Ill try and look through some trip reports too for some tips.

For us we think it's far better than both the Orlando US parks... the Tram Tour is worth the admission alone... it's superb... we had a couple of days there last month ... one doing the Halloween Horror Night... which was one of the funniest, scariest and entertaining nights we have ever had... The Walking Dead is like one of the mazes... great fun... rides are similar to US... Harry Potter, Simpsons etc... new Kung Fu Panda show which is great and don't miss the Waterworld show ... and make sure you get there early ! One of our fav theme parks... you will have great fun.

We were there in September had express passes and all done easily in a day. It’s fairly small, the studio tour is very good, the Waterworld show is brilliant, Mummy is slightly different.

We enjoyed the day but both said we preferred the Orlando parks.

We went this summer and did it easily in a day.
Stayed in the Hilton which is a 5/10 min walk to the park too.

We went about three years ago and loved it! We thought it was much better than Orlando, especially the studio tour. We did the horror nights and got to walk through part of it too! King Kong ride was brilliant along with the Fast and Furious.

I went to Universal in April and will be there again in May. It’s worth the visit but it has nothing on Orlando in my opinion! However the studio tour is absolutely brilliant and I would go just for that! It can get quite chilly because of the wind but you get some brilliant views!
