Everest at AK! The vibe at night is brilliant. To be honest we all prefer all the parks at night to the day!

We've only ever ridden SDMT after 9pm as never managed to get a daytime Fastpass. It is great.
But I think Big Thunder is the winner here - brilliant ride at night. |

This might be a silly question but would going on the rides when it’s dark reduce my risk of motion sickness or make it worse ? I’m just thinking that I won’t see as much beyond the ride itself, so my brain might not realise the speed and motion !
Fingers crossed |

I know you mentioned "The 4 Parks" so I'm assuming Disney lol, but Rip Ride Rockit is fantastic in the dark! You have absolutely no clue where you're going!

If anything I would've thought it would be worse in the dark. Usually, it's better if you can see where you are going.
Motion sickness is usually due to the difference between what your eyes see and what your body experiences (specifically your balance and motion sense - the vestibular system - in your inner ear). If you can't see where or how you're moving then your brain can become disorientated and 'sick'. Often people feel even worse in simulators because what is shown on the screen doesn't actually match what your body is sensing (eg. your chair might tip backwards whilst the screen will show you accelerating forwards).

At Magic Kingdom Astro Orbiter is amazing in the dark. The view of Tomorrowland all lit up is brilliant (even if the ride is nothing special)

Agree with all the above and would add the carousel in Fantasyland.
I prefer the parks at night. |
