If you’re going to be doing it a lot you can get an add on to your mobile or landline for not much.

I would say increasingly in the US they are absolutely used to the idea of being asked to do a call by WhatsApp or Skype or any VoIP so that’s an option if it’s a one-off (request like that was made to me by a US client only yesterday. They’re pragmatic about these things)
