Phone settings for usa

We are with t mobile on payg. when we get to US what settings do we need to change on our phones in order to use them?

You shouldn't have to change any settings.. Give your service provider a call and ask if your international roaming is set up.

When you arrive in the USA turn your phone on and it should work.

Having just arrived back from a wonderful holiday in Florida, from the Keys to Orlando via Miami and Fort Lauderdale the only complaint I have is people using mobile phones.
Whether your in line for a ride, sat on an Airboat or in a restaurant someone is always blabbering into a phone. Why is it necessary to spoil other peoples enjoyment by this inane use of phones. The sooner the Theme Parks, Restaurants and Public venues ban them the better for all concerned.
