eBay - item lost by royal mail

Ive stopped selling through eBay - fees are too high and too many people ready to scam you.

We use Gumtree or Facebook Market - mostly personal pick up only.

I’ve found RM really slow lately. I’ve ordered 5 things off eBay at the start of November and not one of them has arrived!

My large amazon parcel (contained about 10 items) was delivered by my normal royal mail post lady a couple of days ago. She said they are now also doing doorstep collections, so no wonder post is taking much longer

This gives me some hope. I posted a disney item worth £60 to someone on a FB selling group, send it recorded delivery on the 4th November and they have contacted me this morning saying nothing has arrived yet.

The parcel can't possibly be lost as it was a big bloomin disney store box, but tracking just tells me it was posted

And trying to contact RM at the moment is hopeless
