POFQ beignets

Are the beignets available in the evening? Thought we might call over some evening for a few!

I think they are available most of the time (not sure about very early in the morning).

They are lovely - but I seem to always get in such a mess with them - really powdery icing sugar goes everywhere! Perhaps it's just as well since it does deter me from eating them more and I am certain they are not good for you

Yes they were when we stayed there but that was some years ago, enjoy they are delicious!

sorry to hijack - is it walkable from POR? we go on Saturday and I so want to try them... was thinking if it's walkable we could burn off some of the calories on the walk back!

Yes it's a lovely walk, roughly 10 minutes. You can also get the boat if you're too full up
