Quebec 2016 - On y va LIVE - Day 16 - Le Bostonnais

The weather matched our mood today. Wet and windy. At least it was a travel day!

Muffins for breakfast - the healthy option

After packing up the car, we headed off at about 9.45am on the 400km trip to Le Bostonnais.

Lunch was at McDonald's just before we left the motorway. DD was happy to see they did grilled cheese on the kids' menu. We were happy that the staff gave us the nutritional info so we could calculate how many carbs she had consumed!

After a quick grocery shop on the nearest town, we arrived at 3.30pm. The house was exactly as I thought it would be.

It is on the main road (as many are) but there isn't that much traffic.

This is the river - it is pretty fast flowing.

The rest have already been in - taking the rubber rings from one end to the other end of the garden. It is apparently pretty cold!

The owners came round to show us what we needed to know. This is the spa - they had changed the water today so we are letting it warm up!

After that, dinner was had while watching the Olympics - another Gold medal.

A pretty quiet day report wise but really looking forward to exploring tomorrow!
