What's happening with galaxy,s edge ?
Iam seeing a lot of vlogs and Twitter feeds that galaxy,s edge is extremely quiet and disney are looking to lay off staff as the visitor numbers are so low, interesting.

It’s likely that people have been put off visiting as their was so much talk of it being Chaos, as a result it isn’t as people have kept away or delayed visits However I do expect fall and Xmas to be very busy (it’s already a busy time then anyway) with people that delayed summer visits to try and wait until after initial rush!

Last report I saw they were still closing entry for periods of the day due to being full that was a week or so ago though.

I live in California and our local news reports have been saying that the rest of Disneyland, outside of Galaxy's Edge, has been a lot quieter than usual for summertime. The price increase is hurting, I am sure. I also agree with what others have said here, that rumors of the park being rammed after Galaxy's Edge opened has probably kept some people away this summer. Another thing to realize is that Disneyland is largely populated by locals- a great number of those locals have annual passes now. Most people get the cheaper passes and those passes have blackout dates of almost the entire summer. I predict that once those blackout dates end, the crowd levels will definitely increase.

The two most popular passes are allowed to return the last two weeks of August. The deluxe pass holders can return beginning Aug 19, and the Southern CA pass (which most locals have) can return on Aug 26th.

What usually happens is people with annual passes will come to the parks after work, so the late afternoon into evening gets busier. It’s important to get an early start and do as many big things in the first half of the day as possible. MaxPass will also be helpful and I have found to be worth the money.
