I really am not looking forward to tackling this challenge. It maybe I will be watching some bond whilst ironing but the Olympics got pretty exciting last night! |

Right - that's two read this morning. DD17 has just surfaced as she has a Costa date with one of her really good girl friends she calls "The Wife". I can imagine there will be a lot of catching up going on. Her friend always calls me "dad" and DW "mum" because when she comes here she feels as if it is her other home. She is barking mad and fits in well here! I imagine for DD17 it will be one of those "down days" in the recovery of her break up from xBF. A year ago she was on holiday in the southern lake district and his parents treated them to afternoon tea at her fave hotel in the northern lakes. This is one aspect of FB that doesn't help - when it throws up "this is what you were doing a year ago" memories. |
