CONFIRMED - BA to move some Orlando flights from LGW to LHR 25OCT for Winter/Summer 20/21

Booked LGW-MCO 18/3/21 (return 27/3) at about 1pm today using my voucher (didn’t get a voucher for the seats I had to pay for so had to argue with them over that one). Was on hold for ages and took me about an hour from start to finish. Received a cancellation email at 16:21 this afternoon (but only for my outbound flight, not my return). Very annoyed. Not taking another voucher - will take my money (including a refund for my seat reservation) elsewhere.

What I don't understand is why they are cancelling instead of telling me that my flight has moved to LHR

I have looked at the dates we are booked for in April 2021 and they are now showing both Gatwick and Heathrow departures. Will just have to wait and see.

Wish they would deal with the September flights before this! My flight in 6 weeks is still going ahead!

My Edinburgh to Gatwick 03/10/20 flight for onward travel to Orlando was cancelled this morning. I have requested a refund and was told it would be processed within 10days 🤞.

I have just looked at july flights are there is Heathrow and Gatwick flight available, an added bonus For us as will save the dreaded airport change in London roll on next week when our return date is out 🤞🏻

Looks like they are cutting down to 3pw from LGW to MCO for Winter. So direct still available. But only on Mon/Wed/Sat. So both legs need to fall on these days for LGW. So far we are lucky as we have 25th to 5th Dec...so far but anything can happen.

Sat/Mon/Wed are OK LGW to MCO or vic versa :-)

Not had a cancellation as yet but ours are lgw-mco out on Saturday,home on Monday.

I got very excited when I saw this thread as I’m desperately hoping for our flights to be cancelled but we fly out on a Saturday and land on a Saturday 😩
