How strict for MNSSHP costumes?
Do Disney enforce their costume policy at the parties ? Thinking of a cape, but read it’s only allowed to waist length - would I get away with slightly longer, below my behind 😊 ? Just thinking of ideas at the moment and I’ve loads of time to play about with 😄

It all depends on the security guard as we got stopped one year for my sons sword which he had bought in park earlier in holiday had to get a supervisor over as I refused guards instruction that it wasn't allowed, cape length though is all about off and on rides getting caught tripping hazard etc, 2017 my cape was knee length no issues st that time

Can't speak on that but the funniest thing I have seen at MNSSHP was a bloke in a full on inflatable Baymax costume that looked like the real thing. It wasn't until he climbed out of it in front of us and packed it away that I knew it was a guest costume.
He did get loads of requests for photos and not one cast member batted an eyelid. |

We may do capes this year but were only doing waist length more for the heat than anything else ,it's our 1st time at mnsshp so don't want to risk not being allowed in by defying the rules

Thanks for the replies . Yeah it’s our first time at the party too ! Can’t believe the Baymax one 😂 Would love to wear a full on long cape but I know that’s a definite no no, plus would be unbearable in the heat I imagine ! Can maybe cut my cape down slightly if it looks too long, it’s not knee length though so might be fine...

Just a thought, is cape length etc a health and safety issue for rides? Surely if they say it's a certain size then there's a reason for it...
