Mobile Venice/ Madrid / Athens in February

I am looking for a city break for February half term for me and DD16. After doing Florida or skiing for the last 8 years because of GCSEs we did 4 days in Rome this year. So for 2018 we can get cheap flights to Venice but is there much for teenagers and will it be cold? DD wanted some sun so maybe Athens or Madrid but again is there anything to do?

I have a Greek colleague and she says Athens can be cold in Winter! It has snowed before now!

I live in the South of France and in February it is generally cold and can be wet!

I think anywhere in Europe except the Canaries could be cold!

My DS went on a school trip to Venise when he was 13 and loved it!

If budget is not so much an issue, then what about Dubai!? We paid 290 euros for flights in March. Hotels depend on what you want! My two kids (15 and 12) love it there!

I lived in Venice for 3 years and Feb was always freezing. Had snow a few times. Carnival is on, which is fab but pushes up hotel prices and flights

We went to Madrid late January last year and loved it. Sun was out and it was nice. For your daughter there is some great shops like Topshop, Sephora and 5 floors of Primark which is the poshest Primark I've ever seen! Lots of great food and drink too.

I went to Venice beginning of March this year and we had some really nice weather although still a bit chilly.
