Hi,

Could anyone please help me. Have booked our car hirer with Alamo Brits for 18 nights. We selected to prepay, which we have conformation off. However to day I went to do online check in which I did and added a tank of Gas (which I know we will pay out there) but I then when to do "Skip the counter" however, this was saying we needed a credit card and could be charged the $$$ which amount to the hirer and gas. I was confused with this so I emailed them and had a reply of "Hi there! My name is Tomike and I will be assisting you today.

I appreciate you contacting me about your upcoming rental. A deposit of $518.17 (rental plus the Fuel) will be authorized on your card when you arrive. I do show a prepaid voucher attached. This will be applied at the return and your deposit released at that time.

Please note, the voucher does not include the Fuel Charge so the deposit released will be less that amount.

I'm confused as we have paid? (Apart from gas)
