Would you book now for February 2021?

I’ve seen some good flight prices for February next year - the cheapest are with Virgin.

Would you book given the current Covid situation and would you book flights with Virgin? My sister who is coming with us will have a Virgin voucher to book her flight with as we are not now going in July and she was booked on a separate Virgin flight.

I’d book on a credit card for our flights and any accommodation would be free cancellation.

Appreciate any advice - know that I can insurance to cover medical in relation to Covid but not cancellation.

Hi Stepmead

We have just moved our September 2020 flights to jan 30th 2021 so yes to February. We are with Aer Lingus though. Not sure about Virgin but if forced to predict then I would guess they will be fine xx

I booked for Feb 2021 a few weeks ago, 12th to 23rd for 11 nights, fly drive with BA into Miami at a very good price and only paid a £300 deposit. If all fails, then that’s all we lose. It was too good a deal to turn down.

I wouldn't personally because there are too many unknowns at the moment. If someone told me six months ago that the situation we are in at the present time was going to happen I would not have believed them. I would want to wait and see how things progress after lockdown is over before I do anything. That's just my personal choice though.

To go to Florida, then yes. To book with Virgin, then no

We've been having this debate too! We can book with VA for the three of us 27th Feb for two weeks in Classic from Manchester for £1144. Given that my October flights didn't drop below £800 PER PERSON I'm finding it hard to resist these. It would also mean that if we don't go in October (which I don't think will go ahead) I have another date to look forward to.

I figured that I'd use the credit card so if they go under, I can do a charge back if they don't/can't refund anyone. At that price, even if parks are still a bit weird, I'd enjoy the sunshine and chill out time in a villa anyway!

We won’t go if we can’t get the insurance to cover us properly, but for the sake of a £300 deposit, I’m willing to see how it goes.

Don’t book a flight only as don’t think your be ATOL protected, so no money back if goes bust. Do a pack with they even if it’s a couple of nights or car hire . Xx

No we’ve looked and I’d love to go February again but a wee bit too uncertain just now. I’d book with BA holidays.
