Help with Subtitles

I can't find a way to switch on the subtitles when I'm watching on Catchup/Iplayer even though the subtitles are available when the show is recorded. The only way I can turn on STs is by finding the subtitles on the ? key on the Sky remote but this doesn't seem to work on catchup. I'm obviously missing something. Any ideas?

Thanks Bigseve. I've tried everything suggested on that site but my screen doesn't these icons at the bottom.
