Tapu Tapu bands at volcano bay

We have brought the 14 day universal /Disney pass for our holiday. Does this include the tapu tapu band or do you have to pay extra?

It's included. Everyone entering gets issued with one.

I'm guessing they're the equivalent to Disney's magic bands - do you think IOA & US will be upgrading to using them soon too?

Me and DH were chatting about this. We can't see the parks having them as standard, it'll remove a huge part of the benefit of staying onsite and getting express passes (or even buying express passes). Maybe the hotels will introduce them as their equivalent of MB though.

They will have to be given to everyone at VB as you can't que without one

You can buy express pass for vb and Jump the virtual queue.
