Calling Mr Tom? Virgin car hire

I know you often book Alamo car hire with Virgin. We did this last time too. Trying to get a quote on website I can only do 21 days, we want a price for 25 Will I need to ring them? Im sure I did it online last time.

While Im here ...looking for intermediate SUV for June 16 - July 11 if anyone see's any good prices ( they are very scary atm )

Thanks

Are you trying to book through Vigin Holidays? If so try the Virgin Atlantic site as I have used them for 19 days in the past. Discountfloridacarhire is very good and were cheaper than Virgin on our last visit. The link is at the top of this page.

We've booked Andy at DFCH twice in the past 6/7 months for 28 day hire. Very competitive and helpful.

Alamo both times.

Virgin haven't quoted over 21 days for ages even though they know there is a problem. What I do is price up 21 days then add on the extra days I need to get a full price.
Then if it works out ok I ring them to book.
A pain but if the price is right I dont mind. Strange they haven't fixed the issue yet.
I have 2 x 2019 bookings with them already but for the big trip in Aug/Sept Brits is over £150 cheaper today.

Just checked a 21 day hire from Alamo Brits for my dates and it would be more than £800 for an economy car!

I have no idea how these places work their prices but those numbers are just plain crazy

Thanks, will do that and will keep checking until I find a reasonable price somewhere

Get flights booked and think great no more checking prices all day... then its on to checking car hire prices all day... next will be tkt searching Oh well, its worth it in the end

Just looked at us car hire, £626 is the cheapest with Dollar. Think you need to subscribe to the forum to get that price though.
