I’m tempted to put it up at weekend if I can be bothered to put it all together, takes ages, love decorating it though, we got back from Orlando last week & Christmas stuff was everywhere & trees were popping up all over, its made me feel in a festive mood

As late as I can get away with and down as soon as possible
I do love Christmas but it just starts far too early for me!

We were undecided between this weekend and next weekend. But we (I) decided that we (DH) will go in the loft on Friday so that we (I) can put the tree up on Saturday. I rearranged the living room yesterday and gave it a pre-Christmas tree clean.
I put up icicle lights in our living room a few weeks ago - I prefer them to the lamp or the ceiling lights. They’re also not overly Christmassy so to anyone else they’re just fairy lights but to me they’re the start of Christmas decorations. |

Been in the house 21 years - never had a Christmas tree yet...I do have a few Disney decorations but they sit on the shelf all year around so...mine are up...or still up from last year, whichever way you want to look at it.

Yep. But then I do take it down sometime between 27th and New Years Day.
I couldn’t imagine going back to work and still having the tree up, it seems wrong somehow.
