Universal AP Hotel Discounts

Hi all!

I’m looking to upgrade our universal tickets to annual passes during our trip but ideally I’d like to book an AP rate at Cabana Bay.

Has anyone had any recent experience with this? We’re checking in straight after we land but do I need to have a pass at check in or just show it during the stay? I’ve seen a few different things but not sure on the current situation.

I’ve not actually done it yet but I did read that as long as you show the pass before check out it’s fine. My thought is that worst case I’ll nip across to the parks to get the pass before we check in but we have HRH booked so not a long journey. I don’t anticipate having to do it though.

I was thinking that that would have to be an option. Not my ideal situation though, my flights already been moved to later in the day so going back and forward wouldn’t be my dream 😂

Me neither however I’m in different situation having an email from Universal with a new reference for a 3 month AP due to Covid. I would hope that would be accepted pending me collecting the AP.
