Definitely gets harder.I have a 13 year old and he has a phone,x box ,PlayStation etc, doesn’t play sports but he is into music.I have got him an air Jordan backpack, air Jordan jogging bottoms and now on eBay buying unusual stuff you can’t buy in shops. He likes Elton John so has a canvas for his bedroom wall and a wall clock made from a Motley Crue album cover .He just wants money but he can’t open that only Xmas morning.I use Etsy and red bubble for unusual gifts x

It’s extremely difficult. My son turns 11 in a couple of days. Not even thinking about Christmas until his birthday is out of the way. Though he has asked for slime making ingredients and a Scuf gaming controller.

a animal adoption from wwf.uk is a great gift idea and doesn't cost that much.

Really struggling too. He's going on an expensive school trip this year so he knows this is part of his Christmas pressie and so I said to DH we would just get him things we would usually get him anyway and just wrap them up for Chrismas such as joggers and trainers but then I took him shopping today and he told me he doesn't need / want anything like that. I don't want him sat there whilst his sister is opening loads as she has got lots of little inexpensive pressies and that us something I struggle for when it comes to him.
We have got him a plastic brick (lego but not lego) model of his team's football stadium to build. Also got him a cheap drone and some socks 😄😄 |

My DS is 12 on 21st December, we’re struggling massively! Haven’t even thought about Christmas while I still have his birthday to sort! So far I’ve bought Spider Man Far from home on blu-ray, and Shopto.com had a years X Box live for £36. Oh and the new Diary of a Wimpy Kid book. That’s it! I’ve a nearly 14 year old daughter aswell who wants nothing. Gets harder every single year!
