Watched the whole series last week.
A true masterpiece of entertainment, joyful, gut wrenching, drama, comedy, tragedy. It had it all, topped off by a great soundtrack. It made me go check the current HIV guidance from the NHS, learned a whole bunch of things I didn't know. Science truly is magic. |

We finished it last night, both episodes 3 and 5 had me absolutely sobbing.
I completely agree it’s incredible television, but I found it tremendously hard watching. I think it’s because this was set in my lifetime, I was born in 84, and I just can’t comprehend human beings being treated like that. Prisoners who could have done serious wrong wouldn’t get treated like that, never mind fabulous, fun, hard working model citizens. My DH is a little bit older than me, and from a more working class background; and we had some excellent conversations, and I learnt so much, but goodness, some of it was so hard to watch x

Watched EP4 last night...
Gut wrenchingly excellent and at the same time, for a few, it makes you think of people and old times that this affected. This was a true living nightmare. I love you all 💜 Disney332

It broke my heart, the music just fantastic and I remember the 80’s so vividly, I can’t imagine what these young men went through and information that was around at the time was sparse. I wish they did a soundtrack for it, the 80’s was a fab era.

Just got to watching this - absolutely excellent writing and acting. They didn’t shy away from anything but I think they had to do the story justice. Wow x

They will all go on to new projects, but the legacy of ‘Its a Sin’ will endure. Disney332

I binged watched this a few weekends ago, and was up till 3am as just couldn't stop & had to see it through.
Heart breaking ending, and really showed the discrimination AIDS sufferers faced back in the day.
