Virgin Flight Mergers/Cancellations for 2013

Hi,

Just found this thread and am a bit confused!

You have Wednesday 4th Dec listed as vs015/vs016 cancelled. Does this include the inbound flight from MCO?

If so does it refer to the vs016 flight that departs for LGW on 4th or lands on 4th?!

We depart on vs016 on Dec 3rd and land on Dec 4th. Checked my online booking but it doesn't say anything has changed.

Really confused now and a bit worried.

It's the departure date, so if the VS015 is cancelled on Wednesday 4th leaving LGW then there will be no returning flight (VS016) that evening leaving MCO.

In your case the 3rd is not effected.

We are returning on the Thursday 5th Dec 13 mco to Man VS076 but the outbound from Mancester is cancelled, does that meen a cancelation or merge for us ? Very confused. Thanks in advance

It's the VS073/074 (the later flight) that has been cancelled on that date. The earlier flight VS075/076 is still flying. Therefore your flight (VS076) which departs at 18:30 arriving at MAN the following morning at 07:20 is still operating.

The only thing you will notice is as the flight has been merged it is now sold out in all 3 classes.

Just found this tread, didn't realise that many flights get changed. Have flown with Virgin for years and a never once been cancelled or merged, guess we've been lucky.

We're flying 12th May next year, is there likely to be much more movement with the flights or is that it all done for May now?

It's still too early, normally they won't start playing around with spring/early summer until after Christmas.

Fingers crossed mine won't be changed, chose the earlier flight out and later one back to get the most time once we're there

We have just had notification that our Monarch flight has been cancelled. We were flying from Manchester on 2nd May 2014 returning 16th May and have been changed to the Thomson flight.
Cosmos say its due to a shortfall in anticipated demand !

Any news on the manchester flights yet... My outbound is vs75 from manchester on the 2nd April...really hoping this flight stays as it is as really want to arrive in the daylight..
