Cypress pointe into please

We have seen a villa we like at Cypress pointe for our holiday next year. We have not stayed at this location before so can anyone who has stayed there tell me what the area is like and how close it is to restaurants, supermarkets etc. Also what is the travel time to the parks? Any back roads instead of I4? Thanks

It was a few years ago when we stayed but thought the location was fantastic. There is a Winn Dixie supermarket round the corner.

Also I think we managed to totally avoid the I4 when going to all the parks. Nowhere felt far away.

Agree with this, location is fantastic (including a range of restaurants that are walkable). Five minutes to Disney, and you can take the back route to Universal.

But, I think there may be a different community of villas (rather than condos which is the resort I have stayed at, confusingly known as Cypress Pointe Grande Villas) also called Cypress Pointe. That one is somewhere totally different.

Do you know which one you're looking at spestell?

Good point, the one we stayed at was Treasure Cay Lane

thanks for your replies. The villa is in a small gated community of 69 villas, so not the resort.
Sounds like a good place. We will research the back routes

We had a villa here last year and really liked it. It's very quiet and not far from Disney at all.

Bear in mind there are no community facilities at the resort, it's just a small gated community. It didn't bother us as obviously we had our own pool.
