Excited about Disney

First time in 1987, as a teenager with friends family. Next was 1998 with mum and 2 daughters, husband wouldn't come as doesn't like flying. 2015 finally talked my husband into coming with me and we took our 4 daughters. 2017 husband decided it was worth the long flight and we went again, now due to go again in 2 weeks and hoping to go at least once a year now kids are grown up 😀

January for a month..then May..then September ,then January all in one year.. Been at least twice a year since 2004...prior to that every year since 1995... Of course not all was lying in the sun as we had a villa to maintain.. we have now sold so can explore other destinations a bit closer to home!

First time was 1998 (with the parents and my brother) back with my now husband (at the time fiance) in 2003 and then a big break (as we got married and had 3 kids) till we took the kids for their first trip in 2017 - we would love to go back and we will one day but now its all down to finances and when they will allow!

First time I went was 89 or 90 and we went most years after that until I started holidaying with friends. My sister still went to babysit the step siblings.
I’d go every school holiday if I could but that might get a bit costly! 2-3 years is our aim as we can’t always make DS’s summer and Easter stuff fit around our work planners. We’ve booked for next August and I can’t wait but we can’t go for quite as long as we wanted because DS is away on a sports tour. How inconsiderate 🙄😉 Edited at 06:44 PM. |

DH and I went for the first time in 2011. Our second visit was in 2015, with DS who had just turned 3. We're planning a return visit in 2020 with DS & DD - they'll be 8 & 3.
We can't wait! We actually started planning the 2020 trip on the plane journey home in 2015. It's scary how fast the time has gone and now I get to say "we can book WDW next year"! |

This year marks the first time I will be going with only a year gap in between trips.
We went 96/98 because of a windfall so 2 year gap. Then a bit of a wait till 2003, at whcih point we went every 3 years due to savings being necessary. Now I'm paying my own way we went September last year, only took me till december and I was already pricing another trip up... Really hoping having them so close doesn't spoil the fun any, but I don't think it will. Saying that this trip is costing about £10k all in for the 3 of us, so it's a bit of a last blowout. Need to start thinking of cheaper, closer destinations to go to. Problem is I'm quite picky with my holiday destinations... few places have quite the amount of stuff that Florida does in such a small area. Or the weather!
