I took my son to a birthday party a week early, lovely lady who invited me to look at her house as she had just decorated. I then bought the house next door and she said you must of really liked my house lol!

When my daughter was christened it was about the time digital cameras became affordable so I bought one and took pictures on both my shiny new camera and my old film SLR

The old film ones would have been helped if I had put a film in the camera

We spent ages taking some lovely photos of the kids in the rocket garden at Cape Canaveral, found out afterwards no film in camera and kids refused to ever go there again as it was boring.

I was in a shoe shop once looking for some new shoes. I found a pair I liked, tried them on, walked up and down in front of DH at which point a lady politely tapped me on the shoulder and told me they were HER shoes and she'd taken them off to try something on... Awkward doesn't cover it!

I wore odd trainers to work last week and didn’t realise until I got in and was getting changed

I have done the “got dressed in the dark so I didn’t wake DH and wore a jumper inside out to work.” I was about half way through my shift before someone told me.
DH once responded to a Trival Pursuit question of “name a Japanese Martial Art” with origami. He swears he heard name a Japanese art but we don’t believe him and have never let him forget.

I once called out the fire brigade as I could smell burning in the house.
I had just finished blow-drying my hair 😂😂🤭🤭
They were not impressed. 20 odd year later and my family still haven't let me live it down
