Mobile Memorial Day planning

Good evening all,

Just a quick question regarding Memorial Day 2018. This year we are there over Memorial Day for the first time. Just planning our days at the moment and wondered whether to use the Monday as a shopping day or a water park day and shop over the weekend prior to the Monday instead? Any advice from anyone who has visited at this time previously?

Thank you all.

We are also there over memorial weekend. According to touring plans crowd calendar the Saturday and Sunday are the busiest days and the Monday isn't as bad.
We are onsite and don't pick up our car til a few days later so can't have a shopping day, we will just be planning as any other days, getting to parks for opening, 3 fasts passes and then leaving at lunchtime for some time around the pool. I would avoid the water parks though, they get busier at weekend anyway (water park annual passes are very cheap for locals) and I would think the Monday would also be very busy.

Last year we were there on Memorial weekend we spent the Sunday at Discovery Cove because they only allow a limited number of guests in. The Monday wasn't bad we were in Universal Studios that day and I don't remember it been too overcrowded.

Excellent, it’s nice to know that people haven’t experienced too bad crowds over this weekend. I think we will do a mix of shopping and parks as I’ve had hears they have quite good sales on over the weekend so hoping we may get a bargain somewhere.
