Boardwalk 7 months

Currently in the middle of trying to book for next summer. Having a bit of a nightmare getting flights with BA - got my outbound being held while I try to get inbound booked. Using my voucher from BA but having used Avios and a companion voucher originally it’s been a challenge to find reward flights for the beginning of July!

However my question is - how easy is it to book Boardwalk studio at 7 months? I know I’ll probably not get Boardwalk view but wondered about the standard views?
I’ll book my home resort (Copper Creek)as back up - already got first week confirmed.

We've managed to get Boardwalk a few times bang on the 7 month window (also Copper Creek owner).

Not managed to stop there yet though with the constant rolling window of cancellations.

You won’t get standard view (lower points so go fast) but you should get garden view ok.

That’s good to know. Would love a Boardwalk view (same points as Copper Creek) but wasn’t sure if they would go first. Would be happy with any view to be honest as we want it for the location!

I’ve been pretty lucky in the past with BWV (garden/pool) at 7 months so you should be in with a good chance.
Regarding flights though I thought BA changed their policy a while back and they’ve definitely changed my booking twice despite no reward seat availability.

Thanks for this. Was on the phone for ages last week trying to get flights booked. The agent was fab and couldn’t understand why there were so few available! To phone back on Saturday so will see how I get on.

I was actually able to get a boardwalk view studio at 7 months for May 2020, which of course I never actually got to use!

Hi We own at BWV and are looking to book Wilderness Lodge for July. I don't know if this is allowed on here but if you could book Wilderness Lodge for us we would book BWV for you. I don't know how many points you have but we are looking for 1 bedroom. Send me a message if you can
