Well last night's storm hasn't cleared the air, sat in the garden and it feels hotter than hell.

We had the most amazing silent lightening we estimated it was near Birmingham the light was like the northern lights dancing and flashing Across the sky for hours there was literally no air And we ended up eating ice lollies in bed at 11pm ... 😀

Just a crazy night. We're all safe just need to deal with the sewage water residue in the kitchen.

Oh no ! As you said, at least you’re all safe but being flooded must be pretty devastating. It’s been some night right enough.

It really is awful in this area. Lots of lightning strikes too, the butchers just down the road from here burnt down as well as a house nearby. Canal has burst it banks too and railway lines flooded. My heart goes out to those whose home or business has been destroyed. Don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like it.

We must live in the same village, we’re just up from the butchers that was struck by the lightning. It was a shocking night.
