Mobile Kids headphones

Hi, my 4yo ds has autism and the absolute only way I will get him to stay sitting on the plane is with a tablet... he tends to like the volume at full whack and we have never tried him with headphones but we are thinking perhaps we should try and introduce them now to get him used to them- can anyone recommend the best ones to get- don't want to spend a fortune in case its an absolute no go. Thanks x

We bought kids skull candy ones from tkmaxx last year for £12.99. Over the ear ones and the kids love them and think they're really comfortable. Hope this helps

We got our son these. Seem quite sturdy and reasonable. They come with stickers too so they can have fun putting them on.

When mine were little they have the JVC colourful ones, now they're a bit older they have the skull candy ones. They used those on the flight to Miami last year. Neither are expensive.

We have an autistic son too and flew to New York with him in 2015. The skull candy headphones worked a treat.

I bought them off Amazon for around £12-15.

He was fine on the 8 hour flight, he did get up and wander up and down towards the last leg of the flight but we were really happy with him as he'd been so good.

I am dreading it to be honest- we had a 3 hour flight last year and he spent the outgoing flight constantly kicking the seat in front- he may surprise us though 🙈
