Linking MDE bookings

When you link bookings to be able to book ADRs together, do the credits all merge to one or are they still separated by room

We have 3 separate bookings to take advantage of the $200 gift card but obviously want to dine together.

But being family I can see arguments if certain people are using more than their entitled allowance.

Linking MDE and booking ADRs is unrelated to your dining plan credits. Your credits will be split by room when you get there but making ADRs just now isn't affected by having dining plan or not. You can still book tables for your whole party and the credits will be taken from each party at the time you eat, not the time you book.

Thank goodness for that, arguing over who is using more credits than someone else could have been a nightmare.

So linking the accounts together is just for ADR's and fastpasses together?

Yes that's right. You could arrive at the restaurants and decide to pay cash for all or even part of the meal.
