Mobile Can someone talk me through the mobile food ordering?

Hi all,

I’m a bit unclear how the disney mobile food ordering service works? We tried last time with our Revolut card but it wouldn’t accept it, what are we doing wrong?

Thanks!

Go onto the MDE app and on your account select "order food". The restaurants at which you can use mobile ordering will come up. Select the restaurant you want and then choose the food you want, customize the food if necessary. Then, confirm your order and it will take you to the payment screen. Input your credit card details here to pay. When you arrive at the restaurant, you can let them know that you are there on the app and then they will prepare and bring out your order ready for you to collect from the mobile order point.

Not sure about a revolut card as haven't one but we used it with our Starling card last year and it worked fine. I linked the card to my MDE account which I then placed the mobile order with and got a notification of the transaction through the starling app as soon as the order was placed. We found a seat and waited for the notification on MDE that the order was ready and went to the pick up area to get it. Saved us so much time queing, so much so I was puzzled why everyone wasn't using it!

Can you use it with dining plan credits or does it have to be out of pocket?

Thank you so much! I can’t test it until I get there as we only have revolut again.

Good question Andybear - i thought so? But now you’ve asked I don’t know!

Yes you can, if you have a dining plan it will give you the option to pay with credits.

Ah I have dining plan so maybe the revolut card is irrelevant? I didn’t have it last time.

It can be used with dining plan credits. It couldn’t when it first became available but by last summer it could. We used it when on the dining plan/onsite and also using cc when offsite.

Can you register the revolt card on your MDE before you go?
If it links to your account you should be able to use it on the mobile ordering without having to enter the details again in the park.

Great, thank you I'm planning on doing it when I go to Flame Tree Barbeque - I know it can get busy there.
